Nicole A Cox

My dissertation research investigates the presence of dancing in India’s cultural relations, a foreign relations practice that connects people abroad with the heritage, people, or cultural practices of India. Through this work I investigate how the embodied experiences and communication of participants in such programs articulates with state discourses about art, cultural exchange, and international relations.
