Program Description
The Anthropology minor is for any undergraduate student who wants to explore courses in sociocultural, archaeological, linguistic, or biological anthropology.
The minor in anthropology may be tailored to each student’s interests, which accommodates students with majors as diverse as pre-medicine, pre-law, geography, art history, computer science, engineering, business, environmental sciences, and social work.
This program is a total of 18 Credit Hours.
Program Requirements
Select at least two of the following (6 Credit Hours)
- ANTH 220 Introduction to Archaeology
- ANTH 230 Sociocultural Anthropology
- ANTH 240 Biological Anthropology
- ANTH 270 Language in Culture
Minimum of six hours of 300 or 400 level courses (6 Credit Hours)
- Only 3 hours of ANTH 499 may be used to fulfill this requirement.
